WHO ARE WE & WHAT CAN WE OFFER

Raptor Design is a small independent company based in North East Hampshire that can offer a design service for the development of mechanical engineering Components and Assemblies from conception through to manufacture.

Using SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) software Raptor Design can design small to medium components, producing files for manufacture using various Rapid Prototyping methods as well as full engineering drawings to British/European/International Organization for Standardization (BS/EN/ISO) Standards* to enable production in traditional standard engineering workshops.

As well as producing CAD models and Engineering Drawings for manufacture, we can also produce models and provide files to support patent applications as well as those for Design Registration application.

For manufacturing we can also help with the manufacturing of Prototypes etc. with some project management of the manufacturing and assembly phase with our preferred manufactures and engineering workshops as well as the purchase of fasteners and materials again with preferred suppliers.

* although in general Raptor Design  abides to BS/EN/SO Standards we have a few exceptions;

Decimal Notation. BS 8888: (15.3 Presentation of decimals) 15.3.1 states that the decimal marker shall be a comma(,)

Date Format. BS ISO 8601:2004 (Data elements and interchange formats. Information interchange. Representation of dates and times) Stipulates that date and time information is written most significant first and least significant last. i.e., YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.
